Hair Stylist
I’m an Italian with a passion for hairdressing and all things eclectic such as culture, fashion, art and design and, of course, good food.
In 1996, I left Salento (the stiletto area of Italy where I’m from) to purse the dream of a life in London; a city where I could embrace all the life-enhancing concepts I mentioned above, as well as further my ambitions in hairdressing.
My career began over 20 years ago in a village barber shop where I trained and went on to work. I later developed a desire to focus on women’s hair that eventually took me on the journey of discovering the true art and craft of modern hairdressing. Along my journey, I’ve partaken in a variety of opportunities such as editorial styling for fashion magazines like ID, Harper and Bazaar, Glamour, Esquire, etc. I’ve also styled hair for designers catwalk shows such as Giorgio Armani, Alexander Mcqueen, Costume National, Ossie Clarck, Paul Smith, Lanvin, etc. (men and women’s wear) Some ‘socialites‘ I’ve styled include Sienna and Savannah Miller, Ferne Cotton, Michelle Ryan and Zoe Ball.
My wealth of experience and creative output lead me to join the Windle team in 2006 where, in addition to looking after my salon clients, I’ve added another layer of skills to my working curriculum: Education. I’ve become a Bumble and Bumble Educator and also give styling seminars for WAM. These involve high-end stage presentations and in-salon seminars all over the world. The journey has been amazing so far but what excites me most is what’s still to come!
