Jean Marc has many interests but most prominent is his interest and admiration for his varied and interesting client base.
Jean Marc says that his French grandmother had no idea how to bake a cake... but she was highly skilled in the art of looking perfect. 'She never had one hair out of place, she always looked amazing'. It was her elegance and beauty which was to become the inspiration behind Jean Marc's hair cutting and styling.
After years of pursuing a career unrelated to hairdressing, Jean Marc decided to change direction due to his love of fashion and admiration for the craft, but also because he has a skill for listening and counseling broken hearts - perfect hairdressing traits!
Jean Marc has since acquired a wealth of experience within the industry spanning ten years, ranging from prestigious salon work in both Mayfair and the West End, to session work and photographic shoots. His classic styling and cutting techniques mean that he creates soft, easy-to-care-for hair that leaves his clients feeling fantastic inside and out.
He says: 'my clients' stories make the best dinner party conversations... where else would I have learned that cut hair makes the best organic slug and snail pesticide?'
